Catelin Drey’s group Moms for Iowa opposed a constitutional amendment banning non-citizens from voting. That’s right—she opposed Amendment 1, which protects our elections from foreign interference.

Promoted the Abolish ICE Movement

Drey openly praises the Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice, a group that wants to:

  • Abolish ICE
  • End deportations of illegal immigrants
  • Terminate federal funding for border patrol and the wall

She even told her followers it was their “job” to say “this is f**ked” in response to border enforcement.

Supports Gender Ideology and Radical School Policies

Catelin Drey didn’t just oppose protecting girls’ sports—she vilified Iowa’s common-sense law that defines restrooms and sports teams by biological sex. Her words?
“Pointless. Cruel. Hateful.”
 
She also fought efforts to ban sexually explicit books from K-12 schools, including content that described or depicted sex acts.

Endorsed Gender Transition Procedures for Minors

Her organization celebrated court victories allowing puberty blockers and hormone treatments for children, calling it a “critical victory” for so-called “trans rights.”

Calls Trump Voters Nazis. Smears Conservatives.

Drey’s social media is littered with bile against Republicans. Highlights include:

  • “Trump isn’t mentally ill. He’s just an evil racist.”
  • “If the swastika fits…”
  • “Every day we get hit in the face with his evil and stupidity.”

She doesn’t just disagree—she demonizes everyday Iowans.

Just two hours after Senator Rocky De Witt’s death was made public, Drey amended her campaign papers to switch races.
 
That’s not leadership—it’s political calculation at its worst.
